ABOUT US
Passionate about Speech and Language Therapy
At SaplingSLT, we are dedicated to providing a high quality speech and language therapy service that is accessible to children and families when it is needed the most.
We specialise in working with children at pre-school age and often support these children within the nursery setting and into their first school years.
We are passionate about what we do and are committed to providing personalised therapy to meet the individual needs of each child.

We know the fastest progress happens when we can connect with a child by linking language to the things and the people that they love.
Our approach is always connection centred because we know that when we prioritise connection our children thrive.

Questions we are often asked....
Will my child catch up without therapy?
Children do develop at different rates but if you are worried don't wait.
It's always worth talking to a speech and language therapist, early intervention makes a difference.
Some things that you might have noticed:
- Your child isn't talking or has limited words
- They don't follow instructions
-Your child doesn't engage with others
-They aren't combining words
- Your child is frustrated when trying to communicate
What happens during speech therapy sessions?
Our sessions always focus on play-based ideas, engaging activities and are tailored to your child’s interests.
We will give you strategies and activities that you can carry out at home with your child's favourite toys or as part of their routine.
As part of this service you can contact us at any time between the therapy sessions with questions and we provide continued support for as long as you need it.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to arrange a free consultation.
During this initial discussion we will explain the next steps and options.
We always recommend that families continue with NHS referrals and we are very familiar with working in collaboration with NHS therapists.
